Billy w/ a Fender Jaguar
Introduced in 1962 as a descendent of the Jazzmaster, but with w shorter 24", 22-fret neck, and with 3 switches instead of a single toggle for pickup selection (the 3rd switch activates a high-pass filter). It also has a rubber "mute" stopper that can be flipped up or down, and imitates palm muting, which is difficult to do for extended periods due to the floating bridge.

Billy can be seen in an MCIS-era photo holding up a sunburst Jaguar with black block inlays, indicating it was likely made between 1970-1975.
