Dennis Flemion

Wikipedia article

Dennis Flemion (June 6, 1955 – July 7, 2012) formed the Frogs- who were featured in a brief segment on the Pumpkins 1994 video "Vieuphoria"- around 1980 with younger brother Jimmy. Their music is a combination of shock-rock and folk, with songs such as "Homos", "Now You Know You're Black" and "Raped". Dennis acted as touring keyboardist for the remainder of the Mellon Collie World Tour after Jonathan Melvoin died from a drug overdose in July of 1996. Dennis also played and sang on "Medellia of the Gray Skies" from the "Tonight, Tonight" single.

On July 7, 2012, Dennis drowned in Racine County, WI's Wind Lake, while boating with friends and family. Services were held July 14th, and attended by Billy Corgan, who performed a new song he wrote as a tribute to Dennis.
