That Which Animates the Spirit

"THAT WHICH ANIMATES THE SPIRIT (performed by 'The X + I' and a gaggle of State officials): The overwrought reunification continues as a timid and frail Shiny leaves his prison ship, only to hear the booming voice of 'The X + I' in welcome. Notably, Shiny has not aged in space and looks exactly as he did when leaving two decades before. So down an endless staircase Shiny proceeds, offered it seems an open microphone without reserve by 'The X + I'. Shocked, and feeling setup by the same forces that imprisoned him, Shiny merely mumbles his gratitude for the pardon to the crowd; missing the opportunity it seems to say something provocative or dangerous as [he] may have once done." Lyrics

May I have your attention please?
Yes, your hero's come back
And by official decree
Lo, lo, befall
Zero! Zero! Zero!
From a force beyond
As a beckoned belief of magik can't go wrong

For evil, for evil
For evil's song
For evil
For evil's song
Is none too late
And we have to wait

Glory, glory Hallelujah!
Morning's glory come
Hallelujah
Hallelujah, come
Morning's glory is settled after fire

Lo, lo
Lo!
Zero! Zero! Zero!
What's too far to save
Was too close to ever know
Where we've been afraid

For evil, for evil
For evil's song
For evil
For evil's song
Is none too late and we have to wait

Glory, glory, Hallelujah
Morning's glory come
Hallelujah

Zero, Zero, Zero
Zero, Zero, Zero
May I have your attention please?
