Roy Thomas Baker

Wikipedia article

Born November 10, 1946, "RTB" is an English producer well known for producing Queen's "A Night At The Opera", which includes the mega-hit Bohemian Rhapsody. He worked with the Pumpkins on Zeitgiest and American Gothic. Jimmy commented "Roy was the only guy that really noticed that phase cancellation. That guy hears things that nobody else hears! I learned more with Roy Thomas Baker in those four or five months than I have ever learned in my entire recording career."

He was brought in by Jimmy's new band, Skysaw, although his "bigger than the band" sounds somewhat "freaked out" other members Anthony Pirog and Mike Reina- they eventually opted not to use any of the tracks recorded with RTB, but say that "his stamp is all over the record".

Roy can be followed on twitter.
