Born April 8, 1979 in Ludlow, MA, Nicole Fiorentino joined the Smashing Pumpkins in 2010 after previous bassist, Ginger Pooley, left the band to focus on her family. Nicole had previously played bass with Veruca Salt, Spinnerette, and a few other bands, and currently has another side project called The Cold and Lovely with Meghan Toohey.

In February 2011, Nicole commented on the Pumpkins' facebook page that she was one of the girls on the Siamese Dream cover, which Billy then tweeted. While many fans saw this for the joke that it was, some fans and even a few online media sites ran the story seriously, and then later chastised Billy for pulling a "twitter prank".
